Youth Scholarships

The QACHS Interact Club is an active and vibrant club modeled after the adult Rotary Club; the students participate in many worthy service opportunities in our community as well as within their school. Coming together to serve others is the best reward and these students learn this first hand. Thank you to the students in the Interact Club and Mr. Bob Willis, Guidance Counselor, for his guidance and leadership.

Each year, Centreville Rotary Club presents selected graduating seniors from Queen Anne’s County with college scholarships. Students are awarded and recognized for their outstanding achievements, impressive records and future goals.

Each student applying for a Rotary Scholarship must participate in clubs, extra-curricular activities and submit transcripts plus two essays demonstrating the Rotary and Interact motto “Service Above Self.” Our scholarships support our mission in Rotary to enhance quality of life through education.

Centreville Rotary Club also sponsors a scholarship for QAC Character Counts! The Club is a Platinum Level Business of Character. We support all of the efforts of Character Counts, as they promote the Six Pillars of Characters into the students in our County. Many members volunteer as Character Counts Coaches outside of Rotary.
